SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

An opportunity exists for an ambitious Senior Electrical Engineer with experience across a range of complimentary technologies to become a key member of an exciting and highly innovative sports-technology company. This is a rare chance to work in a challenging, cutting edge environment - playing a cornerstone role in the growth and success of the company.

The Company seeks an appropriately qualified individual to be a lead player in the execution of new product development. Reporting directly to the Head of R+D this is a senior position with much growth potential for the right candidate.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate appropriate experience in electronics prototyping, transferal of technology to production, an ability initiate investigations or designs and a willingness to work in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. The right person for this role will be self confident and be able to initiate investigations or designs as they are required. They will most likely be educated to degree level with 5 or more years experience in a relevant role.

The Requirements:

The Key skills/experience required:
  • Excellent electronic design skills.
  • Experienced in one or more of the following areas: RF Design, Battery powered devices, Embedded systems.
  • Innovative designer able to design products, not just circuits.
  • Able to communicate well, particularly across cultural boundaries.
  • Computer literate;
  • experienced in schematic capture;
  • communicate well using email and IM/Skype.
  • Willing to be “hands-on” in a ‘make it happen’ environment.
