My client, a Business Architecture Consultancy, needs two consultants for a Banking project in Nigeria. The start can either be immediate or 14th January (21st December to 13th January would be a project break), and the pay is US$500 a day plus flights, accommodation and local transport. The initial project (which is part of a bigger programme) is to write up a Business Architecture through to SOA (including EAI) vision, strategy and roadmap. One of the consultants should be more technical, capable of implementing SOA EAI. The next phase is to replace FTP file transfers with Web Services, the phase after this is to implement a service delivery platform and the one after that is to integrate the business processes in to the SOA environment. This is a crucial programme as the bank is unable to provide accurate information to the government due to serious data inconsistencies in the FTP file transfers in this high volume transaction environment.
