Role:
- Support and train users and continuously improve use of new HRIS
- Identify, prepare, monitor and analyse key HR information in close liaison with HR Managers in the UK and overseas
- Provide “help desk” support for the HRIS users in the UK, Russia, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone
- Liaise with HRIS suppliers in Egypt re upgrades and system improvements
- Provide training support to HRIS users in the form of training manuals, update, emails and face to face training
- Continually review the use of the HRIS system to ensure maximum benefit
- Coordinate metrics from each territory to produce monthly and quarterly reports, including Employee turnover, Progress against manpower plans and recruitment data, Commission and performance related pay, Training, Development plans and progress against targets
- Monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for HR Managers, including factors such as speed of recruitment, provisions of salary data, employee opinion surveys
- Recommend action and undertake projects as a result of metrics, including looking at areas of high employees turnover, slower recruitment etc
- Prepare salary budgets for all territories and monitor progress during the year
- Review statistical data that is provided and make suggestions for improvements
- Assist others, particularly Group HR Manager and UK HR Manager in the preparation of presentations, this includes gathering of data and PowerPoint presentations
- Oversee payrolls in each territory to ensure this conforms to satisfactory obligations and where the HRIS system can be used
- Providing back up support for the UK payroll.
- Coordinate the provision of salary data from each territory
- Assisting with salary surveys as required.
Person:
- HR qualification via degree, CIPD or equivalent highly desirable
- Very strong IT skills (MS Office essential)
- Knowledge of Crystal reporting an advantage
- Analytical approach
- Methodical and attention to detail is crucial
- Training experience would be useful
- Ability to travel to overseas territories (approx 4 times per year), with trips lasting up to 2 weeks
