OPERATIONS DIRECTOR - TELCO NIGERIA

My client is a well know operator in Nigeria. They are looking to recruit a permanent OPERATIONS DIRECTOR. This role will report directly to the CTO and will look after 3 departments, Network Management Centre, O and M 2nd line Support and Field Operations. The candidate will plan and execute network operation and maintenance activities, in line with business requirements and procedures. Also preventive maintenance: NMC supervision and routines, reactive maintenance: Alarm and trouble handling, Preventive and Reactive Maintenance (Field Activities), Network Alterations and execution of work orders (2nd Line support), Equipment installation and commissioning of routine expansions, Logistics, asset tracking and environmental and safety management, Supplementary assistance to Regional operations and maintenance, Centralized spares management, Optimisation of operations central and regional organisation,Management of strategic initiatives including opex reduction and improved power supply,
