Job Title RF Planning Coordinator

Job Description:
* Ensure that the RF component of the required coverage matches the Network Plan
* Participate in the design of the Nominal Plan of the radio network to ensure that sufficient capacity is provided to support marketing’s subscriber forecast and adequate headroom in line with NWG’s 366 strategy
* Maintain accurate and thorough knowledge of the national network through feedbacks from the regional Team Leads and RTOs
* Ensure adequate knowledge of competitor’s activities and that competitive environment and provide same to the National RF Planning Manager
* Resolve issues relating to stock of RF Materials for BTS site build
* Escalate any issues that may delay the rollout of BTS to the National RF Planning Manager
* Report RF site planning and build activities to the National RF Planning Manager and other departments that require the information
* Interdepartmental Working: Maintain cordial relationships with the regions, other departments within MTN and other MTN’s operations internationally

Reporting To: National RF Planning Manager

Required Skills:
* Minimum of four (4) years experience in RF Planning and Optimization function in a Telecommunications environment
* Two (2) years Team Lead/ Supervisor experience with a Telecommunications operator or Network Consultancy firm
* Experience with Ericsson and Huawei equipment will be desirable

Employment Status : Permanent
Qualification: B.SC Electrical/Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, M.Sc in a related subject will be an added advantage
