The creek training centre Bayelsa is and institute designed to providetrades and crafts training for the oil and gas and construction Industries. The centre is done in conjuction with the Bayelsa State Government and Educational Trust Fund. Our Focus is on providing world class training at local point of delivery. Our curriculum follows the National Centre for Construction and Research (NCCER) competency based curriculum and has beed redesigned to meet the needs of the oil & gas and Construction industries in Nigeria. We are currently in the processs of recruiting qualified instructors for the following positions.

Electrical Trainer
Qualification

• A B.Sc in Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years in the oil & gas Industry

Skills
The candidate should have a working knowledge of:

• Theory & Workshop planning
• Electrical Safety
• Workshop & Field Safety
• Craft related mathematics
• Commercial and Industrial wiring
• I.E.E. regulations
• Generators
• Starters and Control Circuits
• Cable protection, termination, joining & repair
• Transformers, MMC's

Instrument Trainer
Qualification

• A B.Sc in Instrument Engineering
• A minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years in the oil & gas Industry

Skills

• Craft related mathematics
• Layout of tubing & piping systems

Pipe Fitting Trainer
Qualification

• A B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years in the oil & gas Industry

• Piping systems
• Threaded Pipe Fabrication
• Identifying and Installing Valves

Carpentry Trainer
Qualification

• A minimum of 10 years in the construction industry
• International certification with a recognized construction body will be na added advantage

Skills
The candidate should have a working konwledge of:

• Workshop safety
• Craft related Mathematics
• Demonstrate workshop equipment
• Construction of doors, door frames, window frames
• Roofs
• Staircases
• Furniture design and construction

Welding Trainer
Qualification

• HND in a relevant subject
• A minimum of 10 years in the construction industry

• MIG Welding

Concrete Construction and Finishing
Qualification
