Goal of the Job:
To ensure that sites infrastructures maintenance are carried out through effective supervision of maintenance contractors in accordance with Celtel Standards, Specifications, Policies and Procedures.

Role Description:

• Liaise with the Specialist or Manager to ensure access is granted to maintenance contractors to BTS sites.
• Supervise contractors on the implementation of the BTS, BSC, MSC, etc civil site maintenance contracts.
• Take responsibility for formulating maintenance schedule of civil sites infrastructures.
• Monitor civil site maintenance contractors to ensure preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance are executed on schedule to minimize network downtime.
• Carry out material quality control to ensure high quality engineering material are supplied by the contractors for the maintenance of base stations.
• Ensure up to date logging and reporting of faults and maintenance data.
• Supervise contractors on the implementation of the EIA/EES contract as regards VNL infrastructures sites and offices.
• Ensure sites asset database is up to date.
• Supervise and monitor diesel supply & distribution management.
• Ensure adequate daily, weekly & monthly reporting of all maintenance activities.
• Ensure adequate management of sites environment, to avoid negative effects, in accordance with standard regulatory policies

Requirements for suitable candidates:

Qualification
Impressive B.Eng or HND Degree in Civil or Building Engineering

Experience
2-3 years relevant working experience on infrastructures maintenance.
